# 179: on the huntsman of death

It's October already.  In the great north-east leaves are turning & falling in a golden shroud, deer hunting season is around the corner (jack-knife season has already started), squirrels are gathering nuts for winter, Tea Party nuts have shut down most of the government & I hurt my back gettin' in the wood.  Lots of folks are commencin' to think about the next big holiday (except for the business establishment who always  think exclusively about profits & have been pushing Halloween since mid-August.)  Here is a premature (& perhaps slightly lurid) post to get in  the mood.
